What's new

New01

The editor now gives you many more ways to make a page your own, from animated backgrounds and fonts to avatar shapes and profile layouts.

Design settings now work as one system: your choices are saved, rendered consistently on the public page, and remain readable on light, dark, or colorful backgrounds.

Added

  • 20 animated backgrounds with ready-made palettes and customizable colors.
  • Four profile styles: Avatar, Cover, Curved, and Hero.
  • 45 avatar shapes, an optional outline, and left or centered profile placement.
  • Four card corner styles and an expanded font collection.

Improved

  • Empty avatars, covers, and cards now adapt automatically to the page background.
  • The Hero profile now has a soft image fade and a polished state before a photo is uploaded.
  • The add-content and sharing panels no longer overlap each other.

Fixed

  • The animated-background catalog now loads more reliably in the published editor.
  • Improved contrast, sizing, and alignment across editor icons and states.
  • Profile and design settings now work more consistently with undo and redo.
Improvement02

We updated the pricing page with a clearer BASIC and PRO breakdown, so it is easier to understand what is free and when an upgrade makes sense.

BASIC includes all essential blocks, a solid background, 3 fonts, and the Avatar layout. PRO adds animated shaders, every font and profile layout, more media, analytics, indexing, and removal of the separate moolt badge.

BASIC

  • Links, maps, text, sections, a QR code, and page publishing.
  • A solid background, colors, 3 fonts, and the Avatar layout.
  • Up to two photos in one image widget and one music widget.

PRO

  • 20 animated shaders, all 20 fonts, 4 profile layouts, gradients, photo backgrounds, blur, and every avatar shape.
  • Up to five photos in one image widget and unlimited music widgets.
  • Analytics, search indexing, and removal of the separate moolt badge; the service promo remains.
Improvement03

We updated image uploads, cropping, and deletion to make avatars, covers, and photo cards more predictable.

The most recently deleted media can now be restored for 24 hours, even after reloading the editor.

Added

  • Restore the most recently deleted image for up to 24 hours.
  • Keep the available undo action after the editor is reloaded.
  • Support JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, and HEIF image uploads.

Improved

  • Selected images are processed independently so one failed file does not stop the rest.
  • Cropping is more reliable for avatars, covers, and card images.
  • The editor now communicates upload state more clearly before a card is saved.
New05

Early-access partners now have a dedicated invitations area with a personal link and clear visit and signup statistics.

The program is not available to every account yet; access is expanding gradually while we validate it with the first partners.

Added

  • A personal link for inviting new users.
  • A summary of visits, signups, and activated pages.
  • A responsive invitations area in the partner dashboard.
Improvement07

We brought account confirmations and statuses into one compact visual system. Important actions are now easier to notice and harder to trigger by accident.

The email change flow now clearly shows its verification state and available actions, while signing out has a clearer confirmation dialog.

Improved

  • Make the new email verification status easier to notice.
  • Group the resend and cancel email change actions in a dedicated area.
  • Align the sign-out confirmation with the rest of account settings.
Improvement08

We refined the editor's bottom toolbar so every tool is easier to understand and its tooltip no longer covers nearby controls.

Tooltips now stay within the viewport, support keyboard navigation, and no longer open on top of one another.

Improved

  • Give every toolbar action a clear label.
  • Show only one tooltip at a time.
  • Open tooltips from the keyboard and dismiss them with Escape.

Fixed

  • Prevent tooltips from being clipped by the viewport.
  • Remove incorrect and duplicate tool labels.
  • Block repeated actions while saving to prevent duplicate content.
Fix10

Core editor actions now save without a hidden page reload, making content and design work faster and more predictable.

Open settings, preview, and analytics remain in place after saving, while changes appear immediately.

Improved

  • Save the page title and description without restarting the editor.
  • Apply card, image, and design changes in place.
  • Refresh relative view and edit times without reloading the dashboard.

Fixed

  • Prevent page title and description changes from being lost.
  • Remove unnecessary navigation after editing.
  • Fix relative-time mismatches during the initial dashboard load.
Improvement11

We updated the editor's color panel to make switching between a solid color, gradient, and photo background more predictable.

The main change is to page backgrounds: gradients now start from the selected color, photos no longer return after switching modes, and the panel communicates its current state more clearly.

Added

  • Automatically create a gradient from the selected solid color.
  • Choose a darker variation of the first color as the second gradient color.
  • Show a hex value for a solid color, an angle for a gradient, and an indicator when a photo is selected.
  • Warn when widget and element colors may blend together.

Improved

  • Place the darker color at the bottom of new gradients.
  • Apply HEX field edits on Enter or when the field loses focus.
  • Remove unnecessary internal scrolling from the desktop color panel.
  • Keep palette popovers from being clipped by the panel container.

Fixed

  • Prevent photo backgrounds from returning after switching to a solid color or gradient.
  • Prevent a late photo load from overwriting a subsequently selected color or gradient.
  • Remove the extra outline around the color input while editing.
  • Preserve custom gradients when switching between modes.
New12

We moved notes about moolt's development to a dedicated page, so new sections, page improvements, and important changes are all in one place.

The format is simple: what changed, who benefits, and where to try it, without lengthy announcements.

Added

  • A chronological update log with dates and change types.
  • A dedicated data structure for new changelog entries.
  • A product-log layout for future product notes.
Improvement13

The home page now reflects the real use case more closely: visitors see your work, pricing, contact details, and next step through one link.

We kept the quick page-creation flow and made the structure clearer for people discovering moolt for the first time.

Improved

  • A first screen focused on work, contact details, and ways to get in touch.
  • Use-case sections for services, portfolios, content, and projects.
  • Stronger visual continuity across navigation, primary sections, and the footer.
New14

The site now has dedicated sections for features, product information, the blog, media, contact channels, and policy reports.

These pages make it easier to understand what moolt does, who it is for, and where to send a specific question.

Added

  • Features and About pages explaining the product and its use cases.
  • A Blog section covering pages, links, contact paths, and analytics.
  • Press, Contact, and Report abuse pages.
