Consent to personal-data processing when registering with moolt

1. Operator

2. How consent is given

The User gives consent by actively selecting the separate consent checkbox and submitting the registration form, or by selecting registration through an external authorization service after selecting that checkbox. The checkbox is not preselected.

The Operator records the date and time, consent version, registration method and identifier of the created account. These details are used as evidence that consent was given.

3. Personal data

The consent covers the following data supplied by the User or the authorization service selected by the User:

• email;
• first and last name, display name or profile name;
• external authorization-service account identifier;
• avatar where it is provided by the authorization service and the User chooses to use it;
• technical registration details, including date, time, IP address, user-agent and service request identifiers;
• information about email verification, consent and the selected registration method.

The consent does not cover special categories of personal data, biometric personal data, advertising messages or data permitted for dissemination on a public page. A separate consent is requested where processing of such data is required.

4. Processing purposes

The data is processed to:

• create and maintain a moolt account;
• verify email, authorize the User and restore access;
• maintain security, prevent abuse and handle the User's requests;
• prove that this consent was given.

Processing necessary to enter into or perform a contract with the User, or to fulfill the Operator's legal obligations, may continue on the relevant legal basis independently of withdrawal of this consent.

5. Processing operations

The Operator may collect, record, organize, accumulate, store, correct, retrieve, use, provide data to authorized processors, block, delete and destroy data, with or without automated tools.

The Operator does not sell personal data. Processing may be entrusted only to the extent required for infrastructure, delivery of service messages, authorization selected by the User, support and security, subject to legally required data-protection obligations.

6. Duration and withdrawal

Consent applies from the time it is given until the stated purposes are achieved, the account is deleted or consent is withdrawn, unless processing must continue on another lawful basis. Certain records may be retained for statutory periods for accounting, dispute resolution, protection of rights and proof of the Operator's compliance.

Consent may be withdrawn through the available account-deletion function or by emailing privacy@moolt.site. The request should state the account email and the request to withdraw consent. The Operator may request secure identity verification.

Withdrawal may make it impossible to continue providing account functions for which the relevant data is necessary. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed before it was received.
